The Associate Project Manager’s job is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Associate Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

  • Plan, direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Develop project plans as well as define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Plan and schedule project timelines as well as track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Quality assurance and control
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Identifies areas of potential risk and provides guidance to engagement managers and project managers in identifying risk mitigation strategies
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Develops and continually review forecasts; provides leadership and guidance with the scope change process
  • Enforces company standard practices and methodologies across all projects
  • Collaborates with multidiscipline team of professionals to ensure client objectives are met
  • Ensures profitability of client projects
  • Is an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Suggests enhancement on project management process where applicable

Education: BS in Computer Science or similar
Experience: 2-4 years
